Once Upon A Time, there were two intrepid theatrical stars named Ivan Heng and Glen Goei, who decided to dream big and establish Singapore's very own, very shiok theatre company. The 2017 Wild Rice Gala was a celebration of their dreams come true, and saw sporting guests dress up from their favourite characters from fairy tales (as well Disney, Marvel and Pixar movies). Olaf, Red Riding Hood, Pocahontas, Pinochhio and more had a ball of a time at the fete, which featured theatrical performances by the likes of Pam Oei, whose costume changes included a unicorn and Ariel.
