For its 25th anniversary, the Singapore Reportory Theatre (SRT) invited Che Guevera for its celebratory ball. Well, sort of. Guests turned up at the Revolution—The Theatre Ball in their revolutionary best, in all sense of the word. From the decor to the guests' attire to the dessert table, there were Cuban influences, French Revolution nuances and hints of then Cultural Revolution. Even the recent "Me Too" and "Time's Up" movements made cameo appearances at the charity ball. Funds were raised via an auction that evening with generous contribution from the likes of Lamborghini, YTL Hotels and Tiffany & Co—the proceeds from the auction will go towards supporting SRT’s productions and programmes for the year.
