In late April, Ital Auto, the official dealer for Ferrari in Singapore, lifted the veil off the Ferrari Portofino in front of its Singapore clients. The car, which made its world debut at the Frankfurt International Motor Show in September 2017, drew a local crowd of more than 200 guests to FOC Sentosa, where heart-pumping beats were paired with bubblies and Mediterranean-style tapas.

The Portofino takes its name from a scenic fishing town on the Italian Riviera and replaces Ferrari’s front-engine California T. Powered by a V8 turbo engine, it can produce 600hp and clock a century sprint timing of 3.5sec. The car, which has a two-box fastback configuration and a retractable hard top, is said to be Ferrari's most powerful convertible yet.
