Few have mastered the art of "ugly chic" as much as Miuccia Prada. While her Italian counterparts have always been known for high glamour and sex appeal, when it came to clothes Prada was one of the original feminists, choosing concept over convention. Her spring/summer 2019 show was no different, with Prada showcasing a myriad of fashion-forward pieces such as duchess satin bicycle shorts and tie-dye shirts. Present to conduct a masterclass on the art of layering was Fashion Director Desmond Lim, as he showcased the looks to our Singapore Tatler friends alongside key denim pieces of the season. While our guests had fun previewing the collection, another source of amusement came from the bouncy inflatable Verner Panton stools flown in from the Fondazione Prada space that opened in Milan last year.
