Omega, the official timekeeper of the Olympic Games, held a launch party on the Ipanema Beach to celebrate the opening of Omega House for this year’s Olympics Games. This year also marks the 27th time the watchmaker has been named as the official timekeeper of the sporting event, since 1932. Omega ambassador and guest-of-honour at the opening night, Eddie Redmayne was joined by wife Hannah Redmayne, and His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco, Torben Grael, Francisco Costa, Camilla Belle, and more. The Omega House will be home to several parties throughout the competition.
