Cashmere is literally old-school luxury. This prized fibre was sought after by Roman emperors and continues to enthral modern nomads especially when transformed into Loro Piana’s timeless pieces. Tatler guests explored The Alchemy of Cashmere—Loro Piana’s experiential pop-up at Ion Orchard, the first of six stops the Italian luxury brand is making in Asia. The warm, whimsical space housed an exclusive capsule collection consisting of sweater dresses, lounge suits and accessories made from exquisite natural and breathable cashmere sourced only from the best breeders in Inner Mongolia. Apart from the elegant pieces on display, the gigantic “bumbas” (the brand’s spirit animal) also captured the hearts of many Tatler friends. Learn more about Loro Piana’s cashmere journey here.

The Alchemy of Cashmere pop-up at Ion Orchard runs until October 20 from 10am to 10pm.
