The by-invite-only dinner that kickstarted the Gen.T List 2019 unveiling event was an unforgettable one. From the tantalising dishes such as the numbing burrata and charred kale salad, to the animated conversations that filled the main dining area of Kilo Kitchen, it was an electrifying evening that celebrated the new wave of 50 amazing young leaders joining Singapore's Gen.T community this year.
In between courses, head of Generation T Asia Tamara Lamunière shared with honourees and Tribe members about the regional initiatives taking place this year. One, in particular, will be the inaugural Gen.T Asia Summit, happening on 20 and 21 November at the Rosewood Hong Kong.
Corinne Ng, managing director of Edipresse Media Singapore, also addressed guests and highlighted the upcoming Gen.T Singapore CSR activation event, organised in partnership with Fullerton Heritage and Reach Community Services. The said programme, which is aligned with this year's Gen.T CSR theme of education, will seek to engage the Gen.T community to inspire at-risk youths. It is also supported by the National Volunteer and Philanthropy Centre, which saw its deputy director of corporate giving, Quek Shiyun, give a short speech on how smaller businesses can endeavour to give back to society and give better.
Post-dinner, our guests proceeded to the afterparty for the main unveiling event, held across the road to Kilo Lounge. There, the honourees were joined by the rest of the Gen.T community and other young leaders.
