To celebrate the re-opening of its Singapore salon, Harry Winston organised a gala dinner at The Clifford Pier and hosted a select group of clients for a night of revelry. The American jeweller exhibited exquisite high jewellery collections as well as outstanding diamond and ruby creations from its archives, which were specially flown to Singapore for this occasion. Renowned local jazz singer Alemay Fernandez captured the attention of everyone with her soulful singing throughout the evening, and even more so after she opened the runway show with Diamonds Are Forever. With actress Sheila Sim leading the models—all decked in Harry Winston's finest, no less—guests had the opportunity to view and appreciate the exceptional creations upclose and all of them nodded in approval when Fernandez closed the show with Marilyn Monroe's ditty, Diamonds Are a Girl's Best Friend.
