The saying “Diamonds are a girl’s best friend” was on full display at the intimate cocktail held at Graff ION Orchard. Country manager Nicolas Frechet opened the evening by sharing more about Laurence Graff’s close ties with Singapore before revealing a stunning surprise: a specially flown in diamond piece from the Lesotho Promise Collection, which was carved from the 603-carat rough Lesotho Promise.
There were audible gasps from the crowd upon the unveiling of the 27-carat stunner, followed by a flurry of photos and videos. Our Tatler friends including Jean Yip, Yvonne Chua and Ho Ching Lin had the rare opportunity of trying on the ring, while also admiring other beautiful things in store like the brand's iconic Butterfly Collection and the new Twombly Collection, inspired by artist Cy Twombly's work (a close friend of Mr Graff himself). Frechet also invited the jewellery lovers to Graff's upcoming event "Exhibition of Rare Jewels", which runs from September 28 to October 6 and features the brand's most magnificent diamond masterpieces.
