Just in time for the cherry blossom season, Givenchy's artistic director Clare Waight Keller feted the debut of her spring/summer 2018 ready-to-wear collection with a VIP cocktail at the French maison's Tokyo flagship store. The celebration continued at French ambassador to Japan, His Excellency Mr. Laurent Pic's residence, which was transformed with scenography and decor that nod towards Japanese tradition and craftsmanship.

Cherry blossom trees in full bloom made for a fantastic photo opportunity at the photo wall that greeted guests at the entrance. After making their way through the salon, the stylish set was engaged in the game room, where they participated in traditional Japanese games from the Daruma tower to Yoyo-tsuri. A surprise mini-concert ended the exhilarating night, with performances by electronic music duo Young Juvenile Youth and sets by DJ Peli.
