Math and shoes have lots in common—more than one would expect. How does one engineer the perfect proportion in a stiletto? Following that, how does one ensure it is as comfortable as a high heel can get? Gianvito Rossi has the answer to that, and it’s no surprise: the Italian footwear scion founded his eponymous brand after spending his childhood in his father, Sergio Rossi’s atelier, and is possibly more familiar with creating a heel than anyone else.

For the Fall/Winter 2019 collection, the arsenal of Rossi classics has been updated—including its signatures, the Portofino sandal and the Plexi heels. Our guests explored and gushed over Rossi’s creations—Tatler friend Dolly Cheong is a huge fan of his shoes—and got some styling tips from fashion director Desmond Lim at the same time.
