The spotlight was on the ties that bind at HSBC Private Bank’s inaugural Family Enterprise Forum at Capella Singapore. Like a real family gathering, the four-day event attended by over 60 clients from the region kicked off with a “reunion” dinner and prosperity toss to usher in the Year of the Goat. The theme “The Business of Managing the Family” was explored from various perspectives, with topics such as managing family dynamics, family governance, succession planning and family philanthropy among the issues discussed. Rounding off the forum nicely, guests also enjoyed leisurely moments at Pollen in Gardens by the Bay and Alkaff Mansion, and caught some top-notch golf action at the HSBC Women’s Champions tournament.
