In front of a packed assembly of design lovers from all across Singapore, Sherry Goh was presented with the Design Intervention Award for Young Designer of the year. The Award presentation ceremony was held on the 5th November, at the Design Intervention Studio in Tanglin Village, attended by representatives of the Singapore Design Council, press representatives, property developers, and industry representatives.
Sherry’s entry was selected from a multitude of entries from Polytechnic students from all over Singapore, with Lu Yilin from NAFA named the Runner Up. Sherry was presented with a cash cheque of $2000 for her effort and a trophy, and in addition to this cash prize, Ngee Ann was presented with a contribution of 32 books to add to its library as a prize for nurturing the winning student.
