It was rock mayhem at Wolf Burgers at Funan on the afternoon on 28 Jul as the fun-loving society crowd gathered at the burger joint to celebrate the birthdays of Amber and Christian, children of Singapore Tatler friend and private banker Serene Chua. Rock stars, young and old, turned up in full-black ensembles with leather biker jackets, black slogan T-shirts, sequinned tops, and skinny jeans. We even spotted private banker Alicia Thian turning up in a shimmery, multi-coloured sequinned Gucci dress—very psychedelic indeed.

Serene, being the hospitable lady boss of Wolf Burgers, kept party-goers happy with copious amounts of food and drinks, including popular signatures such as Impossible & Beyond meat sliders; popcorn chicken and Fortune fries—savoury fried mantou strips.

The birthday cakes for Amber and Christian, who turn six and four respectively, were designed by Serene, who worked with the patissier to create the rock star-themed confections styled in the children's favourite colours. Both cakes featured a chocolate pinata on top, which Amber and Christian had fun smashing—and eating the goodies inside—almost immediately after the candles were blown out.
