Bank Of Singapore's Diwali Celebrations
To celebrate Diwali, Bank of Singapore organised a glitzy dinner for some 350 clients in the grand ballroom of The St Regis Singapore in October. Dressed in their traditional bests, guests enjoyed a sumptuous feast curated by celebrity chef Sarab Kapoor, who is known for melding influences from international cuisine with Indian dishes. Guests were also delighted with her outstanding desserts that evening such as saffron panna cotta with fig and ginger jam, red velvet halwa and creamy coconut phirni. But leaving the deepest impression that evening had to be the high-octane performance by Bollywood singer Mika Singh, whose presence was felt immediately the moment he stepped onto the stage with his signature shades and outlandish suit. He even got the entire ballroom—young and old—on their feet to boogie and groove to his popular hit songs until the wee hours of the morning.
