The annual food showcase will take place from December 13 to 15, bringing more culinary experiences at over 50 participating booths

After taking a break last year, the sixth edition of the Epicurean Market at Marina Bay Sands returns from December 13 to 15. Which means it’s time to bring out those stretchy pants for a weekend of eating and drinking.

The format is quite different this time around, as the Signature Series event—which brings gourmands bespoke dining experiences at celebrity chef restaurants—takes place on the first day (December 13).

Get up close and personal with chef Wolfgang Puck, who has prepared a special dinner menu at Cut by Wolfgang Puck, showcasing his favourite childhood dishes. Feast on dishes such as the traditional Viennese veal “Schnitzel” with cranberries, and his grandma’s famous ravioli with hazelnut butter. There's also the option of having Austrian wine pairing.

But if you want flavours that are closer to home, local chef Justin Quek has the answer. “I am thrilled to be back at this year’s Epicurean Market as I present my Franco-Asian creations that absolutely are a treat to savour this festive season,” says Quek.

Available throughout the day is his four-course menu of novel creations like scallop and sea urchin har gow beautified with yuzu lobster emulsion, and sambal king prawn capellini.

The Signature Series is followed by the Epicurean Market, held at Sands Expo & Convention Centre (Halls A, B & C) on December 14 and 15. There are over 50 participating restaurants and bars serving up their signature bites.

New booths include burger joint Black Tap, known for its gourmet burgers and insanely huge milkshakes; Koma, famed for its modern Japanese fare; and Origin + Bloom, a European-inspired patisserie serving up a bevy of sweet and savoury items.

Another new addition is the world-class bar offering signature tipples from 12 bars across the hotel. Even Mott32, which opens early 2020, will give guests a preview of its signature tipples.
