Where to Eat This Week: Alma by Juan Amador, Bar Cicheti, Hai Tien Lo, Level33, Takayama
What’s better than indulging your love for good food and getting rewarded? That’s what our United We Dine (UWD) campaign is all about, launched last month to encourage diners to support the F&B industry by having a meal (dine-in, delivery or takeaway).
Whether you choose the exclusive UWD menu or order a la carte from over a hundred participating restaurants, spend a minimum of $100 per meal and stand a chance to win amazing prizes such as staycations at Capella Singapore and Goodwood Park Hotel, as well as dining vouchers from Alma by Juan Amador and Artemis.
1/5 Alma by Juan Amador
Make the work-from-home week a little bit brighter with executive chef Haikal Johari’s takeaway lunch menu, created for the UWD campaign. It comes with spicy chips and Valrhona brownie to complement your choice of burger.
Indulge in the Angus beef burger draped in cheddar cheese and fiery gochujang sauce; pork burger crowned with black pepper and wasabi dressing and cheddar cheese; or organic chicken burger stacked with spicy larb and sriracha mayo. Tone down the heat with the houjicha tea-ramisu, with a generous dose of espresso. Check out the full menu here.
2/5 Bar Cicheti
You can never go wrong with hearty Italian fare. The folks at Bar Cicheti will entice you even more with the special UWD bundle, where you can pick two pasta dishes, one dessert and a bottle of wine selected by sommelier-partner Ronald Kamiyama. Whether you have it for dine-in or delivery, just quote “United We Dine” to get 15 per cent off your bill.
The set is the perfect pick-me-up treat this week, as you can tuck into signature pasta dishes. These include linguini packed with flakes of blue swimmer crab and accented with orange zest, and casarecce nero tossed with plump tiger prawns, housemade nduja, passata and anchovy crumbs. Of course, you can enjoy these with Kamiyama’s curated tipples. Click here to build your menu.

The next time you order from this popular Cantonese restaurant, opt for chef Ben Zeng’s six-course UWD menu featuring his signature creations. The set for two people, priced only at $148, commences with the addictive deep-fried whitebait and fish skin with salted eggs.
These are enough to whet the appetite before the mains. Standouts include wok-fried rice with crab meat, dried scallops and egg whites, and stir-fried pork spare ribs with fermented red yeast rice sauce. End with a refreshing double-boiled sweet tea with sesame dumplings, maltose and osmanthus. Check out the full menu here.

Enjoy the sweeping views of the Marina Bay while tucking into executive chef ArChan Chan’s three-course UWD menu, available at a special price of $118 (instead of $137).
Start with the heirloom tomato salad or salmon gravlax tartare before indulging in the delicious mains. Meat lovers will do well to have the dry-aged Wagyu tritip drenched in pepper sauce, while those who want something light can choose the lightly cured salmon in a pool of zesty tomato dashi. The meal also comes with your choice of wine and Level33 beer. Check out the full menu here.
