Where to Eat in Singapore This Week: Artemis Grill, Saint Pierre, Buona Terra, Madame Fan, Ishi
This story was updated on June 23, 2020
As dining out in small groups is now allowed, it’s more important than ever to take advantage of the opportunity to show restaurants here more love, and help them to survive this difficult period. To rally much needed support, we’ve launched the United We Dine (UWD) campaign, encouraging diners to safely and responsibly enjoy a meal at as many restaurants as they can, and to even consider amazing takeaway deals. What's more, accumulate a minimum spend at at least five restaurants and stand a chance to win incredible prizes such as weekend staycations, gift hampers and dining vouchers. Here are five amazing restaurants to get you started.
1/5 Artemis Grill
Executive chef Oliver Hyde can’t wait to welcome you to the restaurant to enjoy an exclusive four-course menu created just for the United We Dine initiative. The set includes a choice of antipasti (choose from a sumptuous selection that includes favourites such as cacio e pepe and saffron couscous), as well as a main course.
The black Angus ribeye steak with chimichurri sauce is a popular option among meat lovers, while those who crave carbs may opt for the slow-cooked beef lasagna draped in bechamel sauce. Enjoy these with two side dishes and two desserts. Check out the full menu here.
2/5 Saint Pierre
Saint Pierre is offering special omakase bento boxes as part of the United We Dine campaign. Chef de cuisine Steve Lancaster has prepared eight decadent courses made with premium seasonal ingredients, such as omi beef Wagyu showered with shaved black truffles and western Australian marron with Amela tomato and finger lime. Check out the full menu here.
3/5 Buona Terra
If the two-month partial lockdown has got you craving for the complete fine dining experience at this Michelin-starred Italian restaurant, chef Denis Lucchi is enticing you to come and dine with a special UWD five-course degustation menu.
You can whet your appetite with the restaurant's freshly baked bread. But take it easy and be sure save more space for the salad of cuttlefish and caviar to start, and the mains of beef agnolotti showered with shaved Manjimup truffles, followed by the herb-crusted lamb loin with egg caponata. Check out the full menu here.

4/5 Madame Fan
Those preferring to stay indoors can recreate the Madame Fan experience at home with the restaurant’s extensive takeaway menu. This, of course, includes a selection of its signature dim sum, the likes of har gau, crispy duck roll and Sichuan vegetable dumpling.
For a filling meal, order more dishes to share with the family? A Cantonese feast isn’t complete without the crispy aromatic duck, served with baby cucumber, Thai Spring onions and duck sauce. On the menu too are braised e-fu noodle tossed with dried shiitake mushrooms and Hokkaido scallops, and stir-fried kai lan cooked with salted fish and chilli.
Use the promo code “UnitedWeDineMF” when you order (takeaway or delivery) and get another serving of the signature duck dish at a special price of $48 (instead of $58). Check out the full menu here.
