It’s already the Christmas week, and for most of us, this translates to a lot of merry feasts with our family and friends. If you are lucky enough to get seats here during the Christmas week (December 24 to 26), you will be treated to special menus that showcase their signatures. For lunch, this naturally includes the decadent barbecue and dim sum platters as well as elevated seafood dishes such as baked lobster in XO sauce and double-boiled whole African abalone with silkie fowl & Matsutake mushroom.

2. Tablescape Restaurant & Bar

Executive chef Armando Aristarco invites you to experience an Italian Christmas celebration through his four-course Christmas eve menu. It will definitely be a feast to remember with sumptuous dishes, starting with the Angus beef tartare paired with potato, mushrooms and winter black truffle shavings or the grilled Mediterranean octopus served with potato cream, celery and black olives.

Move on to mains with your choice of pork, cooked sous vide for 12 hours and topped with delicate apple puree, or fish soup enlivened with Amalfi lemon, cherry tomatoes and squid ink croutons. Available on Christmas eve. Book here.

3. Les Amis

Avoid the mad rush on Christmas week by bringing the dining experience to your home. Executive chef Sebastian Lepinoy has crafted the takeaway collection, comprising a curated selection of dishes to complete your spread.

Enjoy the likes of “Heart of Salmon” smoked on a traditional beechwood; Kristal caviar exclusive to the restaurant;  and La Bûche de Noël, a traditional log cake with decadent layers of chocolate ganache and hazelnut feuilletine. The takeaway menu is available until December 31. Order here.

4. Deadfall at Barbary Coast

It’s winter wonderland at this dual-concept bar’s “Christmas on Canal” pop-up. Get into the festive spirit with the Drunk Uncle Mulled Wine, an elevated version of the classic tipple that’s made with red wine with Buffalo Trace Bourbon, triple sec, pear, citrus and spice.

Once you’ve warmed up the stomach, get started with the culinary team’s sumptuous menu. Want something light and healthy? The Yuletide Christmas Salad is a delicious ensemble of mesclun, maple, charred squash, feta and candied walnut. But if you want more filling options, the Satan’s Helper is a hefty portion of beef wellington accompanied by mushroom forestiére, sauce chasseur and celeriac purée. Book here.

5. Tuga Singapore

Christmas is well celebrated in Portugal too, and you’ll be able to experience a slice of it at Tuga, which is offering a special menu of festive favourites. This, of course, starts with the sumptuous rebucados de queijos (cheese candies), and the decadent camarao com leite de coco (shrimp bathed in rich and creamy coconut milk).

For mains, opt for the oven-baked turkey leg or the signature dish of bacalhau con broa (dried codfish served with cornbread). Finish with an array of Portuguese sweets. The menu is available throughout the month. To book a table, call 8129 9122.
