1. Buona Terra

It’s now winter in Italy, so executive chef Denis Lucchi has updated his menu to showcase the season’s best—black truffles and white truffles, included. Bring an appetite so you can indulge masterful dishes: the seared scallop with artichoke, radicchio and sea asparagus comes with an umami ‘bagna cauda’ (anchovy sauce), while the dover sole is accented with celery root, girolles mushrooms as well as a generous shaving of winter black truffles. 2. Brewerkz at One Fullerton

At the newest outlet of this homegrown gastropub, you’ll be able to enjoy craft beers (there are 22 beer flavours on tap), elevated Asian and Western fare amidst the spectacular views of One Fullerton. Park yourself in the alfresco area and begin the meal with a glass of Golden Ale or Bohemian Pilsner that’s paired with executive chef Seow Tzi Qin’s delicious dishes—exclusive to this outlet.

Some of the highlights are the 3 Cheese Truffle Foccaccina, baked with spent grains (a by-product of beer production), and the Shogun Burger, created with a beef patty that’s a blend of Japanese OHMI A5 Wagyu, beef chuck, short ribs and top sirloin. Book here.

3. Riviera Forlino

Start the 'feastivities' early with Riviera Forlino’s Bayside Brunch, happening on December 19 (12pm to 3pm). During these golden hours, enjoy free-flow tipples champagne, French wines and cocktails. The Mediterranean-inspired brunch staples are served à la carte, and include Eggs Benedict, comprising poached eggs, cured salmon and hollandaise sauce atop sourdough toast. Of course, there is also the quintessential French toast, elevated with a decadent crème anglaise and pear mulled wine jam.

To make brunch more exciting, the team has also included live stations for perfectly-cooked meats such grass-fed New Zealand lamb rack and milk-fed veal rack, as well as eggs, so you can order your French-style scrambled eggs, cooked à la minute. Book here.

4. Da Paolo Dempsey Restaurant & Bar

There’s something for everyone at Da Paolo this Christmas, thanks to the culinary team who has prepared an array of delicious options. Those who prefer something light and tasty may opt for seafood-forward dishes like the fresh Maine lobster risotto cooked with tarragon in a bisque reduction and finished with lemon zest. But for meat lovers, they can enjoy the grilled côte de boeuf served with sautéed red chard, salt-baked shallots, chanterelle mushrooms and Yorkshire pudding. 5. Lucali BYGB

Music and delicious food go hand in hand to create a memorable dining experience. That said, the sister establishment of Brooklyn’s famed pizzeria has partnered with French acoustic technology brand Devialet to bring these two together in The Unreasonable Series. The team will tailor the music experience to elevate your meal of delectable American-Italian fare that includes bone-in ribeye, lasagna, crab cakes and a giant cannoli.
