From casual fine dining restaurants to pubs, here are the best places to commemorate the Irish festival

Get ready to don your favourite green outfits and celebrate St Patrick’s Day on March 17. Naturally, the celebration won’t be complete without a glass of beer, and some of the island’s gastro bars and pubs are offering this at promotional prices.

1. Hard Rock Café Sentosa

For its St Patrick’s Day celebrations, the team have exclusively crafted the juicy and satisfying Guinness Bacon Cheeseburger, topped with Jameson bacon jam and Guinness cheese sauce. 2. Molly Malone's Irish Pub

The Irish pub is celebrating St Patrick’s Day the entire month with an array of delicious food and drink promotions. It all starts with an ice-cold, of course, and a pint of Guinness and a bottle of Magners cider are available at special prices when you order any main course.

Apart from its signature fish & chips, comprising fish fillets coated with the restaurant’s secret batter and deep-fried to a golden brown finish, you also have the Bavette steak with a side of eggs and chips, as well as the pan-seared salmon with salad nicoise. Book here.

3. Heart of Darkness

For the gastro bar’s St Patrick’s Day promotions on March 17, the team has created exclusive cocktails such as Pot of Gold and Jungle Grasshopper featuring Baileys Irish Cream and Teeling Irish Whiskey. These will be completed by the brewery’s award-winning range of craft beers and bar bites available at standard prices, including Vietnamese spring rolls and pho-lings, which are essentially beef dumplings stuffed with sweet potato noodles and chilli. 4. Harry’s

The homegrown gastropub joins in the fun by offering an enticing promotion, where you get to Guinness twin pints at discounted prices. Pair this with the Guinness-infused Wagyu chilli cheese fries, exclusively made for the celebration. Available until March 31 at selected outlets. Book here.

5. Cure

What better way to celebrate the traditional Irish festival than with chef-owner Andrew Walsh’s Nua Irish cuisine? The dishes on the new menu showcase his own take on the evolution of Irish cuisine, created with exceptional ingredients such as Galway oysters and Silverhill Farm ducks.

These are transformed into delicious eats—think porridge of grains enriched with organic egg yolk and aged beef; Irish brown crab served with sour cream and frisee; and Galway oyster with sea asparagus and dill. Book here.
