The final decanter from the prestigious collection features one of the distillery’s oldest and rarest whiskies.

Just like a beloved TV saga that you wish didn’t end, The Macallan and Lalique have concluded their The Macallan in Lalique Six Pillars Collection with the majestic Peerless Spirit containing its covetable 65-year-old single malt whisky.

Lalique’s creative director, Marc Larminaux designed the decanter with a single drop of The Macallan to highlight the precious spirit inside. It’s placed in the middle of an inverted Macallan triangle — a symbol that was first used in the 19th century and is a trademark of all its present day bottles.

It holds one of the distilleries’ oldest and rarest whiskies, which is matured in sherry-seasoned casks and known for its beautiful natural colour, wonderful aroma and rich flavour.

“This stunning collection of decanters is the result of two kindred spirits, rooted in a shared passion for craftsmanship, detail and mastery. This sixth and final release continues to show the unwavering commitment of both the masters of Lalique and The Macallan to create beautiful and desirable object d’art,” says Ken Grier, brand director of The Macallan.

It’s the final piece from The Macallan’s collection, and only 450 individually numbered bottles will be available worldwide. It joins other popular releases, including the Exceptional Oak Casks, Natural Colour, The Finest Cut, Curiously Small Stills and The Spiritual Home.

The Peerless Spirit decanter is available from July 2016. For more information, please call 6653 2039 or email Sheyenne.sim@edrington.com
