Trust chef Drew Nocente to bring out the big guns and create a tantalising Mother’s Day brunch. His speciality is meat and he won’t disappoint with a communal-style charcuterie and anti-pasti bar. It may seem simple, but wait until you get a load of the small and big plates; options include fried pig ears (if you want something novel); chicken thigh with jus gras and black garlic; and the crowd favourite, porchetta.

Top it up with freeflow prosecco and wine, as well as non-alcoholic beverages. Just because it’s mum’s day, she gets to dine for free with every three paying guests.

New chef de cuisine Armando Aristarco is busy. After revamping the menu, he is now gearing up for Mother’s Day with a super-sized Sunday brunch. Rest assured that there is a lavish seafood spread as well as hot and cold starters, to share.

Why take mum in the CBD area when she can be surrounded in lush greenery at Botanico. Other than admiring nature, she can also partake in the four-course brunch menu highlighting chef’s specialities—from the fresh, zingy king crab salad to the succulent chargrilled wagyu steak. The desserts are also worth the calories, and chef has prepared the chamomile ice cream topped with crushed honeycomb and light rose foam.

It won’t be brunch without a cocktail or two, right? Just for the day, the resident mixologist will concoct the extra special Chocolate N’ Roses, which is a blend of milk, chocolate and strawberries, and the Watermelon Cooler, fresh and refresing and just what you need in this hot weather.
