Its sister outlet might move to a more central location on Orchard Road.

When the Michelin Guide Singapore made its debut two years ago, Joel Robuchon at Resorts World Sentosa was the only restaurant which managed to get the full three stars—and for two consecutive years.

So imagine the shock food lovers had when The Business Times reported on June 7 that the fine dining establishment by one of the most decorated chefs in the world will be closing its doors this month. The last day of service will be on June 30.

Two-starred L’Atelier de Joel Robuchon will also serve its last meal on the same day; however, reports suggest that there are plans to move the restaurant to Orchard Road instead.

This news comes just as gourmands are still reeling from the loss of Restaurant Andre, which ended its 10-year run in Singapore on February 14, 2018, after chef-owner Andre Chiang decided to move back to his home country of Taiwan.
