The wine event, which has now been rescheduled from February to April, will pair the finest produce from the regions of Manjimup and Pemberton with regional pinot varieties

Pinot Picnic, the inaugural wine event that celebrates all things pinot noir, was supposed to take place in February 2021, but was postponed due to undisclosed reasons. Now, the long wait is over as the organisers have announced that the much-awaited celebration is set to take place from April 22 to 25.

The four-day event comprises an exciting line-up of activities, including picnics, live entertainment, sparkling soirees and vineyard experiences throughout the Southern Forests region of Manjimup and Pemberton in Western Australia.

Even with travel restrictions still in place, you may still partake in selected events available in digital formats. For instance, the Pinot Pilgrimage will be live-streamed from Tall Timbers, Manjimup on April 23. During this session, you’ll be able to hear from the region’s leading winemakers and oenophiles on the history behind the premium pinots and their thoughts on the selected bottles for tasting.

And while you might be far away, you can still join in the fun with curated picnic hampers available for delivery, which, of course, includes award-winning wines from wineries Below & Above, Lost Lake and Woodgate. Serve these from the exclusive Pinot Picnic Plumm glassware sets, which are included in the hampers along with artisanal treats from Singapore-based Lush Platters.
