Bedrock Bar & Grill’s head chef Isaac Tan and Beam Suntory’s whisky ambassador Jamey Merkel team up for a five-course whisky dinner on May 3. There are lots to savour—from the starter of wagyu pancia and jamon, to the wood-fired ribeye grill cap steak. Chef Tan also ensures there’s balance by weaving in lobster bisque and pan-seared scallops, as well as sweet and sticky toffee pudding. 

The whiskies to be paired are specially selected by Merkel to elevate the flavours of the dishes. There is Glen Garioch Founders Reserve, known for its vanilla spice with a tinge of fruitiness, and the Auchentoshan 18 years with floral notes and long, zesty finish.
