The newly refurbished db Bistro and Oyster Bar is the next dining spot to watch out for, especially if you’ve got a love for seafood.

Celebrity chef Daniel Boulud definitely knows how to create a buzz, celebrating his French bistro’s fifth year of success in Singapore with the addition of an oyster bar – adding a twist by pairing fresh oysters with an entire bed of crustaceans to deliver a literal seafood fest.

Taking pride of place right in the middle of the casual Parisian bistro, the oyster bar stands as the main attraction, seafood handpicked daily to deliver only the best from the ocean. Think shucked oysters from the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans, Boston lobsters, succulent Alaskan King Crabs and even prawns, mussels and fresh clams.

The daily menu has also been updated with seasonal highlights including the whole roasted Mediterranean sea bass, chef Boulud’s signature octopus “A la Plancha”, and even a 1kg grilled Boston lobster. Favourites from the previous menu have also been rightly kept, including the bistro’s signature original db burger, crispy duck confit, herb roasted organic chicken and lobster roll.

Think the treats end there? Not quite, all through the month of May, guests who order seafood platters also get to enjoy a bottle of Taittinger Brut Reserve Champagne at a special price, chef Boulud’s way of inviting one and all to wine, dine and celebrate in style.
