Sink your teeth into these food and drink events happening on All Hallow’s Eve.

There’s very little to not love about the freakiest time of the year. You get to dress up in the weirdest of costumes (stares welcomed), get tricked into treats, and indulge in all that restaurants and bars have prepared for the occasion. Here’s what’s on our hit list.

Adrift

Ready your masks! You’ll need them for Adrift’s Halloween Masquerade Ball, which happens for one night only. Dress to impress and start the night with a sit-down dinner featuring chef David Myer’s four-course omakase menu, paired with bar manager Anandha Ruben’s boozy potions.

Bring an appetite big enough for the king prawn and Alaskan king crab cocktail; pumpkin soup with foie gras and confit quail; miso-glazed pork chop with brussels sprouts and spiced apples; and chocolate ginger fritter with ice cream and persimmon.

Stay after dinner—that’s when the party officially begins on the dance floor. Nibbles and cocktails will be served all night to keep your sugar level up.

The masquerade ball is on 29 October, from 7pm. For enquiries and reservations, please call 5588 5657 or email to Adrift.Reservations@MarinaBaySands.com

Cé La Vi

Don’t let your fear of creepy clowns stop you from witnessing Cé La Vi’s Spectacular Halloween, a collaboration with London-based boutique club Cirque Le Soir. That aside, you wouldn’t want to miss the captivating acts of magicians, sword swallowers, exotic dancers, and fearless acrobats.

When you’re not holding your breath, relax with a glass of Ruinart champagne or Japanese whisky and enjoy some bar bites by the Club Lounge’s chefs. Good to share are the shoestring fries, seasoned with truffle and Cajun; crisp onion rings with spicy mayonnaise dip; and hot and gooey cheese quesadilla.

The Spectacular Halloween is on 29 October, from 9pm until late. For enquiries and reservations, please call 6508 2188 or email to reservation-sg@celavi.com.

Axis Bar & Lounge

If you prefer a chill, laid-back Halloween without horror, book a table at Axis Bar & Lounge. There will be no monsters or ghouls in sight. Instead, what you’ll get is a bewitching spread of sweet and savoury delights.

Favourites include worms coconut ice jelly, witches’ blend gazpacho, human sandwich with feta crème, blood orange mascarpone dome brains, R.I.P cocoa soil, and Mara De Bois strawberry eyeballs. Wash the gore away with your choice of TWG Tea drink.

The Halloween treats are available from 1 to 31 October, 3 to 5pm daily. For enquiries and reservations, please call 6885 3500 or email to mosin-dining@mohg.com.

Canary Bar

The bar will bring Transylvania to our shores with an exciting vampire-themed party. Don your black cape (don’t forget your fake fangs, either) and join exciting games such as Trick or Treat at the beer pong table. Bring your A-game for whoever wins will get free beers.

If you have a bad aim, head straight for the Halloween shooters for an instant high. Should you still be standing after the potent sourz apple shots, tequila shots and Jägerbombs, you are more than welcome to work your way down the spirits list. Whisky, champagne, cocktails… bring it on!

Halloween In The Tropics: Vampire Night is on 29 October, 7pm until late. For enquiries and reservations, please call 6603 8855.

Caffé B

Don’t commit the sin of drinking on an empty stomach.  Nourish yourself before the night of debauchery at Caffé B, where the chefs have prepared a filling three-course dinner, available until the end of the month.

Get on the black squid ink Japanese omelette, served with banana shallot pickles and grilled pineapple; and continue with the equally good main course, pollo alla diavola (spring chicken marinated with herbs and spices). End your tongue-numbing meal with the sweet and indulgent spooky berries—just make sure you floss post-meal

The three-course dinner is available until 31 October. For enquiries and reservations, please call 6887 3311.

Melt Café

At Melt Café, Halloween means more choices on its extensive buffet spread. Aside from the signature offerings (remember the Indian counter with a wide selection of curries or the glorious cheese room with over 20 types of fromage?), new stations such as the Halloween pasta counter will be added.

Unique creations include the witch black ribbon pasta with bloody tomato sauce, ear-shaped orecchiette with wild mushroom ragout, and butternut ravioli with saffron tomato and crispy bacon.

Before you go, make sure you murder the magic potion cremeux sable and grim reaper banana coconut soil profiterole. Halloween comes but once a year.

The Halloween buffet is on 29 and 30 October, brunch and dinner. For enquiries and reservations, please call 6885 3500 or email to mosin-dining@mohg.com
