Megu Catering Concepts plans your Christmas menu so you don’t have to
Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year, but not so much when you’re tasked to organise a family feast. Here’s the thing: you don’t have to do everything by yourself (especially in the food department) when there are so many good caterers, such as Megu Catering Concepts, which can help.
The company has been in the scene for a while now, which means that experienced staff has got the planning, cooking and setting up right down pat. In fact, it has catered to various successful events such as the La Salle College of the Arts year-end party, NUS YSTC’s graduation dinner and our very own Singapore Tatler Homes’ bathroom gallery event.
This year, it has launched a bevy of Christmas menus, which makes the preparation that much easier and hassle-free. The Christmas party set, enough to feed a group of 10, is an ideal example.
Start with light festive bites, such as the Christmas Epicurean Platter, which is filled with delicious turkey ham, chicken salami, beef pepperoni with apple chutney; as well as the roasted pumpkin salad zinged up with feta cheese and a tangy citrus garlic honey dressing.
As easy as it seems to indulge, don’t for there’s more to be had—five mains and a big serving of sage brown butter rice with pumpkin seeds. Some of these are the rich and succulent roasted Italiano chicken, with the herbaceous seasoning infused down to the bone; the assorted gourmet sausages, with enough heat that balance well with the cheese and mustard cream; and the Aurora Pacific fillet, cooked until fork-tender, and its sweet meat jazzed up by the yellow cherry tomatoes.
Decadent sweets are also included, so look forward to the ever-popular red velvet cake and the sweet chocolate truffle.
