Margaret River On Tour Is Back In Singapore This Month
If you're craving a taste of the finest bounty that Margaret River has to offer, don't book that flight to Australia’s famed southwest region just yet. The Margaret River On Tour is returning to Singapore from August 20 to 23. And there's a lot more to take in this time around.
“(Our) fourth annual event proudly showcases the region’s breadth, quality and diversity over numerous activities across the island,” says Amanda Whiteland, CEO of the Margaret River Association.
More than 30 wineries, restaurants and travel and hospitality businesses from the region will come together for a series of immersive experiences, including wine dinners at top restaurants, masterclasses and travel trade events.
Love your tipples? Don’t miss the extravagant showcase at the Grand Hyatt Singapore on August 22 (6pm to 9.30pm) where you’ll be able to enjoy unlimited tastings of over 80 different wines from renowned estates such as L.A.S. Vino, McHenry Hohnen and Whicher Ridge, paired with complimentary canapés by acclaimed Margaret River chef Evan Hayter of Arimia Winery Restaurant. Chef Hayter will also be conducting a live cooking demonstration of sumptuous dishes crafted using seasonal organic and biodynamic produce.

Those who’ve attended the annual event would be glad to know that there are loads of new experiences happening on the same day too. At the evening showcase, guests will also find a photo exhibition of Margaret River’s natural beauty, captured by acclaimed photographer Russell Ord. He’ll be present at the event to share more about his creative works.
There’s also the CinefestOz Pop Up Cinema, an extension of Margaret River’s premiere film festival, that will be set up in a screening room to feature a series of “Wine Stories” that will take viewers to this exceptional wine region and across its breathtaking landscapes.
Fringe events include a Vasse Felix wine dinner at the Grand Hyatt on Aug 21, and a Flavours of Australia dinner at Capella featuring wines from Xanadu, to name a few.
