One of these is the combination of crispy wasabi prawn, Beijing duck and pan-seared foie gras. The Beijing duck is excellent, its crackly skin skillfully carved sans meat, though the crêpe is slightly powdery and thicker than it should be. The fillet of rib eye with sesame sauce and the lamb chop with cubes of local carrot cake in XO sauce are among the many interesting creations. For dessert, keep the innovative momentum going with the crispy durian ice cream. When you bite into it, the ice cream is still solid despite its crusty covering. For a Chinese restaurant, the wine list has a well-balanced range of international reds and whites.
