Whether you prefer to be in the action or away from the crowd, here are 5 restaurants with something special for the F1 weekend

It’s only a few more weeks before the Singapore Grand Prix is back in town. And while we’re all gearing up to witness another action-packed night race, courtesy of our beloved F1 drivers like Sebastian Vettel and Lewis Hamilton, let’s not forget to nourish ourselves with scrumptious food. Thankfully, these restaurants have prepared special menus to keep our energy levels up for the race season. Ready or not – here they are.

Dolce Vita

For an Italian feast to help you recharge after a heart-stopping race

As close to the track as you can get, Dolce Vita offers you some of the finest fare after an adrenaline-filled race. So while you’re trying to calm those nerves, relax inside the cosy restaurant and indulge in a special four-course dinner menu that features some of its Executive Chef’s Italian creations.  Bottarga Linguine, anyone?

Café Mosaic

For its impressive buffet spread and F1-inspired dessert creations

All that jumping and cheering for your favourite F1 driver may have drained you of all your physical strength. Before you faint from total exhaustion, get the sustenance you need at Café Mosaic. With an extensive buffet spread that seems to go on forever, pick from whichever station you fancy – roasted meat, local fare or fresh seafood.

Make sure you leave room for some sweets, though, for the real highlight is the dessert corner where you can find F1-inspired desserts such as the Chiffon cake shaped like a racing car tire.

Edge

For a luxurious champagne brunch before you watch the night race

While waiting for the night race to start on 20 September, make use of your time wisely and revel in Edge’s F1 Champagne Brunch. Already a popular destination due to its 7 live stations and a wide array of food offerings, the F1 Sunday has inspired the Executive Chef to add more dishes to the spread. Highlights include the Mongolian Lamb Rack, Baked Pacific Cod as well as the Baked Quail and Maple Glaze. Enjoy all of these while you have an unlimited serving of Veuve Cliquot champagne and Passionfruit Mojito.

MELT the World Cafe

For a power-packed brunch before the big day

It’s going to be a long but exciting day ahead so, before you head to the circuit park, make sure go prepared. From 18 to 20 September, MELT the World Cafe will be having a special F1 Breakfast Pit where you can indulge in the breakfast of champions.

For some much-needed protein, head to the Farmhouse Eggs Corner where you can indulge in a selection of omelets served with pork sausages, grilled bacon and baked beans. For the more refined palate, there’s an array of European classics that is sure to whet the appetite as well as keep you up and running until the race is over.

Senso Ristorante & Bar

For a champagne brunch away from the crowd

If you prefer to enjoy the F1 weekend from a distance – Senso Ristorante & Bar is the place to be. Tucked in one of the old shop houses along Club Street, this restaurant is offering a F1 Taittinger Champagne Brunch on 20 September, from 11:30 to 3pm. During these golden hours, you can choose from dishes like Risotto Carnaroli or Beef Tagliata. Whatever you choose, you get to enjoy a free flow serving of champagne, Italian wines and beer. Say, Cheers!
