These delicious superfood bowls are not just easy on the eyes, they're great for your health too

1. Project Açaí

Singapore's first dedicated Açaí cafe, Project Açaí takes their superfood bowls very seriously—you won't be finding salads or granola bars here. The cafe serves freshly blended Açaí bowls and smoothies daily, using Sambazon organic açaí from the Brazilian Amazon Rainforest. Treats to try include the Original Flower Bowl, served with 14 different toppings, and the Açaí Sundae Bowl with bananas, goji berries, strawberries, cookie crumble and cashew cream for sweet-tooths.

2. Coocaça

With the shop's brilliantly-coloured interiors, Coocaça is hard to miss. Like the decor, the health food joint's Açaí bowls are also vibrant and incredibly photogenic. Other health foods on the menu include freshly pressed juices, salads and sandwiches, smoothies and smoothie bowls topped with homemande granola and other superfoods. Order a Singa superbowl for true Singaporean flavour: mango, pineapple, banana and coconut water, or a Sao Paolo for that choco-banana flavour.

4. A Poké Theory

A Poké Theory may be known for its vibrant poké bowls, but the healthy eatery also serves up a range of insta-worthy superfood smoothie bowls. Advocating the idea that "life’s too short to eat bad food", the diner also offers cold-pressed juices and health snack packs—kale chips, crispy salmon skin, smoked almonds and more. The Raspberry Tropic smoothie bowl appears to make a regular appearance on Instagram feeds, a fruity combination of banana, raspberry and soy milk topped with pomegranate, mango, coconut chips and sunflower seeds. For a hearty cold treat in the Central Business District, Seed and Soil is the place to go. Hidden away in 1 Tanjong Pagar Plaza, the cosy health food diner serves up authentic smoothie bowls. Açaí bowls at Seed and Soil are rich and creamy—the açaí berries are blended as-is without apple or banana juice and scooped frozen from gelato tubs. 7. An Açaí Affair

Started by two undergraduates with a shared love for nutritious food, An Açaí Affair serves up açaí bowls and smoothies, with the goal of raising awareness for this superfood and its benefits. You can opt for your healthy treat to be served in a coconut husk—the Tropical Coconut Bowl comes with fresh fruits, granola, chia seeds, cacao nibs, coconut shavings & goji berries. If you're feeling experimental, nothing beats creating your own bowl with three sizes and four blends of açaí to choose from.
