The restaurant, which opened in March, is located inside V-Zug’s flagship store at Scotts Square in Orchard. More importantly, it boasts a notable culinary team that works closely with its clients to customise the ideal food and drink menus.
TICKLE YOUR FANCY
Cocktails, mocktails and wine pairings are easily customisable with the help of V Dining’s talented line-up of bartenders and sommeliers.
As for the sumptuous food, you have head chef Lee Jing Peng and his culinary team to thank for that. Guided by global brand ambassador and culinary director Ryan Clift of Tippling Club, they are capable of whipping up a multitude of contemporary dishes to fit various themes and palates.
It is also worth noting that the kitchen is equipped with the latest from V-Zug’s line of professional-grade equipment, which embodies the Swiss values of precision, innovation and excellence.
One of the most used gadgets is the cutting-edge Combi-Steam MSLQ oven with its patented Vacuisine technology, or vacuum cooking process. It’s the only appliance in the world that smartly combines three heating methods—conventional heat, steaming and microwave—to reduce cooking time by up to 75 per cent as compared to conventional cooking.
Peng uses this technology to prepare a number of signature dishes, among which is the chicken rice roll that's served as part of the amuse bouche selection. The breast meat is cooked sous vide to keep it moist, succulent and flavourful, before it's coated in a light tempura batter and deep-fried to a nicely crisp, golden-brown finish.
RAISING THE BAR
The V-Zug showroom has two live kitchens while V Dining has one; these can host interactive sessions such as a cocktail or canape masterclass. You can even tap on the expertise of the restaurant's creative bartenders and chefs to create customised menus suited to the occasion. But if you prefer to work with your own chef, the V Dining culinary team will be on hand to lend their support.
There’s even a room furnished with a projector and sound system, adding to the venue’s versatility. In fact, V Dining has already hosted functions for a mix of clients, including contemporary art gallery Ode To Art, and the Norwegian Seafood Council.
Living up to the brand’s reputation of offering only the best experience, the team flew in live seafood from Norway to capture the authentic Nordic experience for a six-hands dinner event featuring V Dining's very own chef Peng, Heidi Bjerkan of two-Michelin-starred Credo in Norway, and Rungthiwa 'Fae' Chummongkhon of Bangkok's The Front Room.

Bringing the event to you is easier than ever too, now that V Dining has debuted its V-Zug Mobile Kitchen. Whether it's at your home or office, the V Dining team can set up its live kitchen with the complete suite of four steam ovens, induction wok, teppanyaki counter, as well as a wine cooler and coffee machines—perfect for activities such as live cooking demonstrations and masterclasses. In fact, they have organised such events for the likes of Lamborghini, Grand Copthorne Hotel, CDL Amber Park and GuocoLand Midtown Bay Residences.
