Goodwood Park Hotel’s Durian Fiesta Returns This Month
Those who can’t get enough of the King of Fruits always look forward to Goodwood Park’s annual Durian Fiesta, established in 1983. This year, the event is currently ongoing until July 26 and also kicks off a much bigger celebration—the hotel’s 120th-anniversary festivities.
The D24 variety remains the star of perennial favourites like the durian mousse cake, as well as in novel creations, some of which were inspired by the hotel’s illustrious past. Exclusively available at Coffee Lounge and L’Espresso are the D24 pavlova and D24 coffee pavlova, created to honour Anna Pavlova, a world-famous Russian ballerina who performed at the hotel in the 1920s.
What makes these special? The D24 pavlova comprises elegant meringue spikes and a luscious core of durian meringue, while the D24 coffee pavlova has been infused with aromatic coffee notes to elevate the decadent filling.
You’ve also got the D24 Summer Dream, a beautiful jelly cake inspired by the lush gardens of the hotel, as well as the D24 Nutty Delight, an ensemble of two crowd-pleasers—durian and peanut butter.

Ideal for devoted durian fanatics are the D24 party squares, showcasing beloved flavours including cream cheese, pandan coconut, coffee and chocolate marquise from the last decade. Last but not least is the D24 golden fritter, where the moreish durian heart is encased within a warm and crisp shell.
As mentioned, the Durian Fiesta is part of a bigger anniversary festivity that will also showcase German specialities at Gordon Grill, nostalgic afternoon tea at L’Espresso, and a chef’s menu of signature dishes at Min Jiang.
