Great food and cool vibes await you at Tanjong Beach Club.

In just a few days, we’ll be ushering in the Singapore Grand Prix once again, and 200,000 eager fans from all over the world will flock to the Marina Bay area to catch their favourite drivers in action.

If you’re a race fan, be sure you re-fuel and tank up on the booze at these restaurants in the area. But if you would rather escape the crowds, make a beeline for Tanjong Beach Club.

Seafood platter

As you take in the picturesque views of the sea, tuck into an array of seafood dishes from the restaurant’s revamped menu.

From the all-day dining menu, order the snapper ceviche. A light and refreshing starter, expect the freshest fish tossed with tangy lime and creamy avocado, and served with a side of crispy tortilla chips. Next, opt for the barbecued octopus salad, which consists of grilled and smoky tentacles atop spinach, quinoa and pomegranate.

Lobster bun

For mains, the lobster bun is a must try. This crowd pleaser has two toasted buns generously filled with sweet lobster dressed with lime mayonnaise and avocado.

Chorizo quesadilla

If Sunday brunch is the highlight of your week, you’ll be happy to know that this is also available at Tanjong Beach Club. Here,  besides the usual suspects like eggs & ham, and chorizo quesadilla, there are also  more nutritious options like the acai bowl and chilled melon salad.

Of course, what’s Sunday brunch without a cocktail (or three)? The Piña Colada is the perfect beach companion, and it comes to you in a hollowed pineapple filled with rum, pineapple juice and coconut rum.
