We'll be honest. You usually wouldn't expect to see McDonald's featured on Tatler. But together with their legion of fans, we can't help but be excited for the collaboration between K-pop supergroup, BTS and McDonald's.
Armys in Singapore will finally be able to get a taste of the exclusive BTS x McDonald's menu today via delivery only. The BTS Meal includes a nine-piece Chicken McNuggets, large World Famous Fries, a large drink, and exclusive sweet chilli and cajun dipping sauces inspired by popular recipes from McDonald's in South Korea. Fans can enjoy the band’s signature order at participating restaurants islandwide.
The partnership is the latest collaboration that the Korean pop group dropped over the past few months which includes a phone case partnership with Casetify, a camping gear collection with Helinox, a flash tattoo team up with Inbox and even singing Coca Cola's Turn up your rhythm campaign, which featured the septet covering the song, Jungle.

Singapore fans might not be able to see BTS as their Map of the Soul: 7 world tour was cancelled due to the pandemic, instead, McDonald's is bringing the group to nearly 50 countries in a one-of-a-kind, exclusive menu "tour" that officially kicks off on May 26. The first stop of the "BTS Meal" was in the US.
"The band has great memories with McDonald's. We're excited about this collaboration and can't wait to share the BTS Meal with the world," says Bighit Music, the label of BTS.
The collaboration with the biggest group today shouldn't be a surprise as the septet—RM, Jin, Suga, J-hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook—previously did a specially remixed version of their Japanese song, Crystal Snow that's can only be listened to through McDonald's wifi in Japan. Despite a number of brands wanting BTS as ambassadors or collaborators, fans know that group only collaborates with brands that they personally like, use or whose message they connect with.
The members have occasionally been spotted eating McDonald's too whether they're on break, on tour or during filming. Sope (J-hope and Suga) and V even own McDonald's-themed merch. So, rest assured, the exclusive meal is BTS approved. So, rest assured, the exclusive meal is BTS approved.
The team-up with McDonald's also follows the successful launch of the fast-food chain's celebrity signature orders program from last year but BTS is the first group to have their orders launched worldwide as a testament to their global popularity.
