All The Hot And Exciting Events To Check Out At The Epicurean Market
Back for its fifth edition, the Epicurean Market is held from August 11 to 13 at the Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Centre. Over three days, it will be transformed into a bustling foodie place where you’ll find a marketplace selling everything from artisanal cheeses to wines and spirits as well as stalls hosted by the hotel’s powerhouse celebrity chef restaurants. They’ll be selling their signature items—from Waku Ghin’s botan shrimp and oscietra caviar, Osteria Mozza’s pizzas, to db Bistro & Bar’s lobster roll—at a steal.
But that’s not the only reason to head to the market. Here are other exciting things you shouldn’t miss.
When we say that the Epicurean Market is bigger and better, we’re not kidding. This year sees a host of new additions to an already stellar line-up of restaurants. Hot on the list are favourite ramen place Ippudo, now with a new home at Marina Bay Sands, and Lavo, a multi-concept dining destination making its debut in Asia. We’ll get a preview of its signature Italian fare with the likes of meatball with ricotta and the sliced prime NY strip roasted tomato chimichurri on crostini.
Street Food Experience
If you’re craving for local cuisine, head straight to the Singapore Street Food and tuck into signatures from Rise. The rendang pipi daging (braised wagyu beef cheek) has all the spice you need in your life; the ice kachang ball, chendol and muah cheeh give you an instant sugar rush, perfect when you need energy throughout the event.
