The AirAsia Food app is offering free delivery from now until March 16
The pandemic has changed the F&B landscape with more and more gourmands opting for their meals to be delivered to their homes. Now, you can bookmark another platform as Malaysian airline AirAsia has launched AirAsia Food, its own food delivery services in Singapore. It’s the latest player to join a competitive market that is already dominated by Deliveroo, FoodPanda, GrabFood and more.
At present, 24 F&B outlets have signed up to be included in this new delivery service, but AirAsia head of e-commerce for the AirAsia app Lim Ben-Jie mentioned in an online press event that they’ll be introducing more operators to the growing list in the coming weeks.
Ordering can be done on the website or the “super app” that customers use to book flights. To entice customers to try out the service, AirAsia is offering free delivery from now until March 16 for orders done within 8km from the restaurant. In addition, it has 500 riders at present to ensure that you receive your food on time.
