Sabai Fine Thai on the Bay

Above Just a stone’s throw away from the CBD area, Sabai Fine Thai on the Bay is always a popular destination for business lunches

Located at the Custom’s House, which is just a stone’s throw away from the CBD area, Sabai Fine Thai on the Bay is always a popular destination for business lunches. It’s not surprising considering that it’s consistently listed as one of the best Thai restaurants in the country.

Helmed by Thai chef Samlee, who continuously seeks perfection in her cooking, she ensures that each diner gets to experience what real Thai food is all about with dishes such as the Thai stir-fried noodles, green curry chicken and pineapple fried rice. Enjoy these in an intimate setting with the Marina Bay as your stunning backdrop.

Long Chim by David Thompson

Tatler Asia

With the opening of Long Chim by David Thompson early this year, we finally got our wish of having a Thai restaurant at Marina Bay Sands. But it’s not just any run-of-the-mill restaurant, it’s by renowned chef David Thompson, who has made a name for himself for mastering the art of Thai cooking.

Showcasing his skill in the kitchen is a tantalising menu of Thai street food prepared with more contemporary flavours, some of which are the Green Curry with Wagyu Beef, Beef with Holy Basil, Pad Thai Sen Chan and Braised Lamb Beef Curry. Enjoy these in a vibrant setting which is modeled after the vibrant streets of Bangkok.

Soi 60

Tatler Asia

A great introduction to Thai cuisine for the uninitiated is Soi 60. While it still offers authentic dishes the country is famous for, the level of spiciness is subdued, so you can enjoy the dishes without searing your tongue.

Also worth going for are the impressive cocktails with a Thai flair, which the mixologists concoct superbly. Our top picks are the Thai-Pirinha, Thai-Phoon and Lemongrass Mojito, which are best paired with the dishes on the menu.
