Colony

Taking up the huge space that Greenhouse left when it shut its doors last year is Colony, Ritz Carlton’s latest dining concept. It is made up of seven conservatory kitchens offering different cuisines such as Chinese, Indian, Malay and Western; all these have helped shaped Singapore's dining scene today.

What’s on offer? You have the steam basket section, which serves noodles and soups, among other Asian delights; while you canfind the wok-fried delicacies at the wok station. Craving for more? The Tandoor section offers Indian meats, seafood and breads cooked in a traditional Tandoor oven.

The Dining Room

The Dining Room at Sheraton is probably one of the prettiest restaurants we’ve seen in Singapore. From the main dining room, you have a magnificent backdrop of the lush garden, rock pools and its signature waterfalls. This amazing setting sets the tone for an intimate and heart meal at the restaurant.

Views aside, it also offers a good selection of international fare, though not as extensive as other places. But the food’s quality more than makes up for it with stations like the seafood bar serving the freshest oysters, scallops and prawns; or the carvery section which offers roast beef, lamp rump and roast chicken. For those who can’t live without their chicken rice and nasi lemak, there’s also an assortment of local dishes to complete your dining experience.

From the Asian section, you have a wide assortment of Chinese dim sum, satay and Tandoor meats; while international offerings include premium meats, seafood and desserts. Oh, there’s a wide assortment of French cheeses too.
