Choices are updated regularly and may include signatures like the chicken parm, black cod and pappardelle pasta and spicy lamb sausage.

While you can order drinks here, it’s much better to have it at the bar so you’ll see bartenders putting on a show while concocting your drinks. They offer over 100 types of beers, cocktails and even wines.

Bedrock Bar & Grill

As its name suggests, there’s more to Bedrock than its famous steaks. It also has a whisky bar which serves — you guessed it — an impressive list of popular whiskies such as Johnnie Walker, Balvenie, Arbelour; as well as rare ones like Aberfeldy, Knockando and Caol. These are offered alongside beers, cocktails, wines and non-alcoholic beverages.

You can drop by just for drinks, but for a complete experience, it’s recommended that you also come with an appetite. Order its specialties, the bone-in tomahawk or Bedrock pepper steaks, and finish off with some sublime desserts. There’s apple crumble, baked fresh daily, and hot favourite — chocolate churros.

Sum Yi Tai

Sum Yi Tai makes a distinct first impression because of its décor reminiscent of 1980s Hong Kong action movies. The restaurant, which is situated in a three-storey shop house, is dimly lit with oriental lanterns and the main wall has a huge Chinese dragon painted on it.

It lasts in your memory because of the authentic Cantonese fare it serves. There are good ol’ roasts and comfort food like king prawn wanton egg noodles, claypot rice and vermicelli with jumbo head king prawn, as well as hot favourites like crispy roast pork and XO carrot cake.

What’s even better is that it houses a bar so you can enjoy all these dishes with potent tipples. Sum Yi Tai boasts an extensive selection of premium whiskies, whisky-based cocktails, beers, wines and sake.

One such establishment is District 10’s latest outlet, which attracts the working crowd, shoppers and even tourists for its sublime modern European fare paired with some hard-hitting drinks.
