There’s a reason why this restaurant is always packed from day until night — even on a Monday. Of course, there’s the postcard view of the Marina Bay Sands that continuously draws in locals and tourists; but other than that, the authentic Spanish fare keeps us coming back for more.
If you visit during lunch, go for the executive lunch set which consists of three courses. Starters include beef carpaccio as well as smoked eggplant and marinated sardine nigiri. Mains get even better with the grilled tiger prawns with sautéed green peas and calamari sofrito as well as pan-seared duck breast with fennel confit and sour cherry infused duck jus. Cap off the meal with ice cream, fresh fruits or baked pineapple crumble.

For the ultimate lunch indulgence, there’s no better place to be at than Spago. Located on the 57th floor of Marina Bay Sands, it overlooks the infinity pool and Marina Bay district. You can choose to admire the view from the casual al fresco bar or the main dining room — both areas serve the two-course executive set and four-course chairman set lunches.
What we like about the menus is that there are more than enough options to choose from. These include favourites such as chicken laksa spring roll and big eye tuna tartare cones for starters; pan-roasted organic chicken, Tagliatelle pasta and grilled angus beef burger for the mains; and Gianduja “Pot De Crème” and citrus vacherin for dessert. You can even pair these with a fine selection of wine, as recommended by its resident sommelier.

The Pelican Seafood Bar & Grill
Seafood is the name of the game at The Pelican Seafood Bar & Grill, located at One Fullerton. Helmed by head chef Jonathan Sparber, he has curated a three-course set lunch with indulgent creations such as grilled red snapper and seafood linguini. If you’re craving for something other than seafood, he also has meat options such as the tender red wine braised beef cut.
No meal is complete without desserts and he finishes it off with the fruity avocado panna cotta or chocolate honey cake. You also have his homemade ice cream of the day with interesting flavours such as chilli and bacon.

Choose between its two- and three-course sets and pick your favourites from the lunch menu. Appetisers include chive cakes, fish cakes and the newest addition — beef skewers; meanwhile, mains range from curry dishes, seafood and meat. As a grand finale, have some mango sticky rice or banana roti.

Bread Street Kitchen
When you want to enjoy a leisurely lunch, Breadstreet Kitchen is a good destination due to its business set lunches, available from 11.30am-4pm. Executive chef Sabrina Stillhart curated the menu to include the restaurant’s all-time favourites, which you can mix and match.
We’re talking about cider onion soup, salmon rilletes and ham hock terrine for appetisers; as well as smoked haddock fishcakes, butternut squash risotto and lamb and carrot pie from the mains. Make sure you save some space for desserts for you won’t be able to resist the rhubarb and white chocolate parfait.
