While we’re geographically limited by the size of our wee island, there are some scenic pockets of charm to be found around Singapore, which make for a lovely wedding backdrop. Usually best suited to smaller wedding parties, these outdoor venues offer a breath of fresh air from the staidness of fancy function rooms with carpets that look like they belong in the ‘70s – and not in a good way.

It’s advisable to secure your venue of choice as quickly as you can after you’ve set your wedding date, preferably at least six months to a year in advance, as popular venues get booked out quickly. Start shopping for your dream wedding with our round-up of lush outdoor venues.

The Glass Pavilion, furnished with chic furniture and imbued with added charm from an antique wedding bell from Sentosa Island, makes for a picture-perfect venue on the resort’s lush, landscaped grounds.
