At SIHH 2017 in January, Montblanc rolled out a brand new TimeWalker collection. The line has always been the marque's classic collection designed for daily wear. The primary objective of the revamped version remains the same—a masculine line that is suitable for every occasion. But aesthetically, the German giant has injected a dose of nostalgia into the line by adding vintage motor racing design elements into its look and feel. Think satinated cases, semi-skeletonised horns with architecturally carved flanks, strong contrasts of colour, and three-dimensional counters.

n July, Montblanc launched the new TimeWalker to Singapore with a day-long event, which saw a collaboration with the Porsche Club. Its members took part in the TimeWalker Grand Prix, an island-wide treasure hunt. Which was why a convoy of 46 Porsche thoroughbreds drove off from The Fullerton Bay Hotel to various locations like Keppel Bay, Dempsey Hill, HortPark and Sentosa Cove, answering questions and overcoming challenges related to the TimeWalker collection along the way.

The day ended with a relaxing evening of cocktail and champagne at Lantern as the guests had the opportunity of checking out the new TimeWalker collection. They also enjoyed the fireworks display from the National Day Parade preview held at the Floating Platform across the Singapore River.
