The Graff Hallucination

Debutant exhibitor Graff Diamonds has made a fine first showing at Baselworld 2014 by unveiling its US$55 million diamond-encrusted Hallucination timepiece on the opening day of the annual watch fair, which runs from today till April 3.

The magnificent ladies watch by the London-based diamond and jewellery manufacturer features a kaleidoscope of rare multi-coloured diamonds (110 carats worth, to be precise), creating what Graff claims is the most valuable timepiece ever.

The concept for the dazzling masterpiece came from Laurence Graff,  chairman of Graff Diamonds, with thousands of hours of work by designers, gemologists and master craftsmen needed to realise the piece.
