Chef-owner of Singapore’s top‑ranking restaurant that stands at third spot on the Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants 2016 list and also earned two Michelin stars in the same year, André Chiang is noted for his innovative French nouvelle cuisine since he opened Restaurant André in 2010. He immortalised his Octaphilosophy culinary approach in a cookbook published in 2016, and embarked on a seven-month world tour of 21 cities to promote it.
