We take a look at some of the most stylish brands for motorbike fanatics

Belstaff

British heritage brand Belstaff was first founded in 1924 in Stoke-on-Trent, and their jackets have been worn by legends including T.E. Lawrence, Amelia Earhart and Che Guevara. Recently acquired by Swiss luxury group Labelux, the company has returned with a new advertising campaign starring one of the world's most famous male fashion icons, David Beckham. Prices in the 'Pure Motorcycle' line range from €550 for a waxed motorcycle blouson up to €1,195 for a new version of the brand's classic 'Trialmaster' in Bull Grain Leather.

Matchless

A recent brand revival, Matchless London claims its place as the world's oldest motorcycle company, with its first bike produced in 1899. The 2013 relaunch of the company as a luxury apparel supplier was supported with ongoing advertising campaigns featuring Kate Moss, shot by Terry Richardson. The Roadfarer jacket in waxed cotton is available for €499 while leather options include the Kensington 3/4 length coat in €1,499.

Barbour International

Famed for its wax fishermen's jackets, Barbour created its first motorcycle clothing (an oilskin suit) in 1908. The label's jackets went on to become favorites of motorbike connoisseurs through the 1950s, 60s and 70s and were famously worn by motorsport and silver screen legend Steve McQueen. The brand was inspired by his 1963 entry in "The Greenhorn Enduro" (a punishing 500-mile (800 km) motorcycle race across the mountains and desert of California) and thus created the Barbour International Steve McQueen collection in his honor. You can pick up the Barbour Steve McQueen Washington Wax Jacket for £280 (approx. €335).
