Get your springtime wardrobe in check with these breezy, lightweight sweaters—bonus points for bold graphics or pop art references.

Paul Smith is turning 69 this year, but his designs aren’t showing the slightest sign of ageing. Known for his distinct British sensibility and lighthearted “classic with a twist” styles, Smith trades in his usual tailored ensembles and puts a somewhat darker spin on his collection with eerie hand graphics. Missoni, on the other hand, rides the graphic wave with a striped mishmash of the house’s iconic chevron knits. Bearing in mind that these looks should be styled with a sense of effortless ease, leather sandals, bucket bags or shoulder bags in supple calfskin, or scarves in opposing hues will finish things off perfectly.

RULES OF YOUR OWN
Salvatore Ferragamo honours the bold spirit of the brand’s founder with microsite A Man’s Story, featuring videos and photos of stylish athletes and artists such as rapper A$AP Rocky.

GETTING AHEAD
Berluti’s spring/summer 2015 ready-to-wear collection melds the most luxurious of technical materials with heritage tailoring techniques to form what artistic director Alessandro Sartori calls Sports Couture. Main silhouettes leave lots of room for the urban man to move, from a jacket with a relaxed, natural shoulder to a generously cut trouser with a slightly wider leg, which he pairs with the new Playtime sneakers (bottom)—made with a single piece of leather—or a new version of the emblematic court shoe with laces replaced with a buckled leather strap. On his arm or back, a soft but masterfully constructed origami-inspired carrier matches this theme of athletic luxe in robust glove-touch leather.

LABEL LOVER: DEBONEIRE
Background:
Helmed by local designer Matthew Gideon, Deboneire debuted in January this year with its spring/summer collection. The 24-year-old designer had difficulty finding clothes that fit his slender and tall stature, and thus created the line of stylish clothes specially designed and crafted to suit men of similar build and size.

Collection Inspiration:
Gideon’s maiden collection comprises 15 unique suits for men for all occasions—including cocktail functions, smart-casual dinners and formal events like the red carpet. Drawing inspiration from the Italian word sprezzatura, which literally translates to “studied nonchalance”, Deboneire injects fresh perspectives to otherwise classical design sensibilities. From cocktail suits custom-dyed in jewel tones and rakish velvet tuxedo jackets, each carefully crafted creation is sharp, sleek and embodies the spirit of sprezzatura.

The Details:
Suits are fashioned from silk, linen, cotton and wool; lined with breathable Bemberg; and finished off with fine details such as mother-of-pearl. Zooming in on a Deboneire ensemble, one would also find air ties, club collars and collar bars amid the plush textures.
