Fans of Carven, rejoice – the French fashion house has opened its first freestanding store in Singapore, at ION Orchard. Stocked with the brand's fall/winter 2012 collection inspired by Hieronymus Bosch's Garden of Earthly Delights. This equates to a bounty of colourful prints, as well as keyhole slits on dress bodices and laser cutting details

Founded in 1945 by French couturier Madame Carmen de Tommaso, the House of Carven has always been about innovation and fresh style. Following de Tommaso's retirement, the brand was revived in 2009, and is now led by creative director Guillaume Henry.

Elements of its flagship Saint-Sulpice boutique have been transported to the store here in Singapore, with white mosaic tiles, W-shaped mirrors and light, wooden furnishings to recreate the Carven experience on our little red dot.
